AnimalSense has long been an avid supporter of local animal rescue organizations and shelters. In fact, we donate thousands of dollars each year in training services to these groups. Now, we are happy to make it easier for you to donate. Each session, we will offer the opportunity for you to donate to our charity of choice when you make an online purchase. Choose any dollar amount to help homeless animals when you check out and we’ll donate that amount to the non-profit organization.

Our charity for our Spring I 2012 session is Trio Animal Foundation. We had the pleasure of sponsoring their main fundraiser, Rockin’ for Rescue last year. This amazing charitable organization needs your help!

Trio Animal Foundation assists shelters, rescues and individuals by paying the medical bills of homeless pets. TAF also promotes adoption and responsible pet ownership, including spay and neuter.

The Trio Animal Foundation is named after Trio, a dog who was used as bait in an illegal dogfight when she was only 4 weeks old. During the fight, Trio’s back leg was bitten off. With generous contributions from animal lovers, Trio received the best medical care possible and was adopted into a loving home. Trio’s owner founded the TAF to help other homeless pets in need, just like Trio. Trio passed away in late 2011, but was an inspiration to everyone she met.

Many sick and horribly injured animals are brought to shelters each day, and the costs of medical care can easily reach into the hundreds or thousands of dollars per animal. These high medical costs can deter shelters and individuals from taking these animals in, thus leading to the unnecessary deaths of thousands of animals every year. For these troubled animals, TAF can be the answer.
