AnimalSense has long been an avid supporter of local animal rescue organizations and shelters. In fact, we donate thousands of dollars each year in training services to these groups. Now, we are happy to make it easier for you to donate. Each session, we will offer the opportunity for you to donate to our charity of choice when you make an online purchase. Choose any dollar amount to help homeless animals when you check out and we’ll donate that amount to the non-profit organization.

Our charity for our Spring II 2013 session is Be Fido’s Friend.

We are pleased to partner with this amazing organization for this campaign, as well as an adoption event on Saturday, May 4 from 1pm-4pm at our Old Town office. Meet some adorable and lovable dogs who are looking for their forever homes!

Be Fido’s Friend was founded in 2011 by a group of seven animal advocates and is a 100% volunteer run organization. Their mission is to end the Chicagoland canine homeless population through education, spay and neutering, and partnering of resources to improve the quality of life for dogs in need.

Be Fido’s Friend is dedicated to animal rescue. In addition to their primary goal of helping homeless dogs find forever homes, they:

1. Rescue animals from situations that are abusive, endangering and neglectful and inform the public in order to put a stop to animal abuse and irresponsible breeding.
2. Promote holistic and alternative therapies to allow our animals to live long, peaceful and happy lives.
3. Educate the public on responsible pet ownership which includes the importance of spay/neutering.
4. Support, encourage and join forces with other animal welfare organizations.
