Marsha McClellan - Assistant Staff Trainer
Marsha has loved animals since she was a small child, even saying back then that she was going to be a veterinarian when she grew up.; Well, her education with a BA in Psychology from DePaul and a Master of Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern and career path in financial management took her far from her early aspirations, but animals have always been a part of her life in one way or another. After attending a pet massage workshop in 1998, she came home with the idea that she could do it even better and opened Pet-ri-ssage with co-owner Denise Theobald where they both taught therapeutic pet massage techniques to clients and offered the massages to deserving animals. While running this business, her desire to have a career centered around animals grew even more. Marsha is now a graduate the AnimalSense Academy, where her prime interest was learning about animal behavior and helping dog owners to learn how to deal with problem behaviors and to make their lives easier. We are proud to welcome her to our staff. She lives in Oak Park with her partner Nancy and a zoo of animals including cats, fish and a bird. All Marsha needs is a dog (or two) to complete their furry, scaly and feathery family.
