Do you have a dog that reacts to other dogs on leash? BAT, or Behavior Adjustment Training, can help! This progressive training method teaches reactive dogs that a change in their behavior can make the scary thing that causes them to bark, lunge or growl go away.
“Behavior Adjustment Training (BAT) rehabilitates dog reactivity by looking at why the dog is reactive and helping him or her meet his needs in other ways. In a nutshell, BAT is a dog-friendly application of ‘functional analysis’ that gives the dogs a chance to learn to control their own comfort level through peaceful means.” functionalrewards.com
Come and practice your skills in Behavior Adjustment Training (BAT) under the supervision and guidance of Sally Bushwaller, CPDT-KSA, CNWI. This class is designed for clients who have taken our Doggone Issues class, who have taken private lessons with Sally, or who are familiar with the BAT techniques and have gotten permission from Sally or our office to take the class.
